I need to buy a "used car" soon in Munich. I would be looking at buying directly from showrooms or services (like @autohero_de) which deliver at home. Getting at least 1-year warranty and prolonged customer service is the key. What other B2C services are there? suggestions?

Great functioning, modern and liveable cities of the World compete on num of good quality options they can offer for recreational, arts & sports activities. Especially for kids & family friendly places and within affordable range. I believe #Munich does great on these metrics.

It is getting extremely hard to get access to sunflower oil in the grocery stores in Munich. I know it is not even just Germany's problem. Probably majority of us didn't know that Ukraine has been the larger exporter of it.

We had a frustrating experience today at the Islamabad airport. We were informed at check-in counter that our flight QR057 from Doha to Munich got canceled. No email/notification from @qatarairways was sent, which is shocking. Everything looked "confirmed" before that @qrsupport

It is good to be back in Munich and on Twitter We had a relaxing and somewhat wonderful time with family and friends in Pakistan. There was no lockdown so everything is practically open in Punjab side and ppl hardly follow the guidelines. Technically, you are on your own.

It was pretty convenient to get Corona Test from one of the official test centers in Munich. Free for people living in Bayern. Get online appointment, stand in the queue for 30 mins, registration and test hardly takes 10 minutes. You get the result as pdf next day.

I was mentioning to someone yesterday that almost 90% of my South Asian friends (🇵🇰 🇮🇳 🇧🇩 🇨🇳) with whom I studied in Masters program in Munich are still in Germany after a decade. Interestingly, we didn't even left Munich for another city in Germany/EU. This tells something.

Recently met a Chartered Account qualified Pakistani who moved to Munich and got a job within 3 months. This was positively surprising coz it is not usual for folks from Account/Finance domain to see Germany as a destination and actually get a job without any German skills.

So today is the day ✌️ Vaccinated with J&J. Just got lucky to get an early appointment at a clinic in Munich. It was a conscious decision to not wait for Pfizer. Maybe now I should also invest in JNJ stocks 🤔

I don't know abt other cities of Germany but Test Centers in Munich are giving PCR test results in all different ways. Maybe expecting a standard procedure is too much to ask It varies from getting a simple receipt to a downloadable PDF to accessing it via @doctorbox_app app.

After a longer than usual and a hectic flight with 2 kids, we're in Pakistan ❤️ It is a unique travelling experience during a pandemic with all restrictions. Passengers count in the flight from Munich to Doha was maybe 1/4th of capacity but it was full from Doha to Islamabad.

Different parts of Munich have different mechanisms to get a Corona Test 🤦‍♂️ Only few lucky ones offer online appointments and some have Drive- Thru option.

Personal observation: Majority of Older people in Munich would say "Grüß Gott" or "Grüß dich" to greet me. Like almost all of my neighbours. Adults/Younger ones would greet with "Servus" or just "Hallo". Is it how it is in Bavarian culture?

Is there no law in Germany which restricts employers to not decline new offers already sent to successful candidates? A close friend living in Cologne accepted job offer in Munich. She resigned, cancelled her apartment contract and then this company decided not to continue.
